IAIG Style Guidelines

We are the Internal Audit and Investigations Group (IAIG). We provide UNOPS with independent and impartial assurance, advice, and consulting services to protect the integrity of the organization.

These style guidelines help to ensure that we communicate as clearly, consistently, and effectively as possible. This is critical to our mission to protect integrity and build trust with UNOPS stakeholders, beneficiaries, and employees.

As an independent unit of UNOPS, IAIG speaks with its own unique voice but is compliant with UNOPS’ overall brand rules. Our style, in that sense, is a special subset of UNOPS’ brand, capable of standing on its own.

Tone and voice

Much of the way IAIG communicates with its stakeholders is through writing. It's often their first introduction to us. So how we write is critical to establishing our credibility, ensuring others understand our mission and our work, and building the trust needed for open communication.
